EMCM has been founded in 1993. Since 2007 it is a part of the bio implants division of aap Implantate AG ( http://www.aap.de)

EMCM serves global oriented small and large medical device companies and pharmaceutical companies.

The design and development department of EMCM focuses on the identification of product possibilities, design of products, development of products and manufacturing processes. Developed products by EMCM include bone cements, cement restrictors and cosmetic injectables.

EMCM operates in its own classified rooms over 1,500 square meters for the manufacturing of medical products. Various classified areas i.e. clean room classes are available (A-D; 100-100,000) to facilitate compliant manufacturing conditions including aseptic processing. Low and high volume autoclaves are operable for in-house steam-air sterilization (particularly suitable for closed containers, such as syringes).
