Packaging
All products manufactured and filled in primary packaging such as vials, ampoules and syringes are packed in different forms of secondary packaging.
Blisters
A number of blister-machines are in use for the secondary packaging of ampoules and syringes. For some products, where the blister is the primary packaging, the blister-activity is an in-line step in the manufacturing process. Ampoules, blisters, syringes and vials are packed in outer blisters.
Pouches
For the packaging of primary packed products into an secondary pouch, a number of equipment is available. Some of the products are even directly packed into an aluminium pouch. Blisters, syringes but also processed bone are packed in outer pouches.
All secondary packaging is validated according ISO standards. For all secondary packaging an in-line identification process is in place.
