EMCM, in collaboration with Osteo-Pharma, recently inaugurated a dedicated hormone processing facility.
Adhering to strict GMP and ISO 13485 standards, this hormone processing facility is segregated from the rest of the cleanroom complex with a separate entrance and waste stream. The area has a dedicated air handling system suited to working with “high-potential drugs”, and the air emission is completely HEPA filtered by a safe change filter system. A special hormone protective clothing regime is also in place to protect any personnel working in the facility and to prevent the contamination of sensitive products.
